Educational Quality Inspection 2023
Our most recent ISI inspection report (March 2023) rated our Educational Quality as ‘Excellent’ in all areas, the highest possible rating.
We are delighted that the inspectors recognised the enormous amount of work that goes on behind the scenes to ensure that our pupils are: happy and safe; working in an inspiring environment; provided with an outstanding education; encouraged to think and act independently and for the greater good; receiving excellent pastoral care.

Regulatory Compliance Inspection 2018
We were inspected by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) in February 2018. This was a regulatory compliance inspection, designed to establish whether the school meets each of the 493 regulations in the ISI handbook. It does not investigate the quality of education offered by the school.
Schools are advised to use regulatory compliance inspections like a vehicle MOT – an opportunity to tighten up any areas that are found to require improvement. The report itself lists only whether each regulation has been “met” or “not met”.
The school met all the regulations except for two specific requirements relating to the Single Central Register (SCR) of staff appointments. As soon as these were brought to our attention, we rectified the errors immediately. The report however retains the “not met” record in those areas. All our safeguarding procedures were, however, verbally praised by the inspectors as being particularly thorough. Our SCR is now fully compliant and when the school was re-inspected on 6 July 2018 by way of a no-notice inspection it was deemed to be fully compliant in all areas.
