Our Early Years experts ensure a secure and happy environment where important life skills such as curiosity, creativity, persistence, imagination, confidence and resourcefulness can fully develop.
Our Flying Start curriculum offers children crucial unpressurised time to gradually get ready for school life ahead; time for them to develop as individuals, form friendships, make sense of their world in their own unique ways and develop their natural creativity and love of learning.

Our curriculum is based on the Early Years Foundation stage and benefits from specialist teachers in key areas, including literacy, maths, games, music, expressive art and languages. We focus on the three prime areas that are particularly crucial for igniting children’s curiosity and enthusiasm for learning, and for building their capacity to learn, form relationships and thrive:
- Communication and language
- Physical development
- Personal, social development
Our staff to child ratios of 1:5 for 2 -3 year olds, and 1:8 for 3-4 year olds, give a boost to early numeracy and literacy skills and confidence. Above and beyond the Early Years Foundation stage curriculum, we give the children a huge variety of extra experiences and opportunities. There’s something for everyone with lessons in music and dance, French language skills, water confidence and swimming in our pool, football and outdoor learning.
We incorporate digital literacy and problem-solving skills into every day. Tools like Bee-Bots and similar educational robots offer hands-on learning experiences that promote engagement, exploration, collaboration, future skills preparation, and introduce basic coding concepts.
